The show

A confession at 35,000 feet.

A night flight, five hours to landing. A writer terrified of flying wakes up with one decision: to fire his editor. As the cabin counts down the minutes to landing, he talks his way through money, women, critics, artificial intelligence and his own fear.

And he keeps going back to one summer when he was eight: an empty beach, a forbidden rock, and the homeless man behind it, with a red dog named Foxy, who listened to a boy’s stories about a tiny planet.

Funny, crude and sad, often in the same sentence.

“This show is about the inner worlds we all inhabit, and how, even in isolation, there’s a beauty and meaning to be found.”

For adults only. The show contains strong language, explicit sexual references, alcoholism, and talk of death and plane crashes.

Nervous flyers: you will recognize a lot of this, and laugh about it.
